BPUSD Welcomes 2025-26 Student Board Members

The student board members will rotate turns at meetings, where they will participate in open session, deliver reports, and cast a preferential student vote. In addition, they will take part in the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council and engage in professional development opportunities that foster leadership and collaboration.

Isabella Lara, Baldwin Park High School
Lara, a senior at Baldwin Park High, serves as Associated Student Body (ASB) president, varsity cheer captain and Marine Biology Club secretary. Her vision is to connect with students and gather their opinions to make Baldwin Park High an even better place. Lara’s favorite subjects include English, social studies and electives in the medical field. She aspires to pursue a career in pediatric nursing or radiology, with her college interests including San Diego State University, Cal Baptist University and Cal State San Marcos. In her free time, she runs a floral business.

Anthony Harley, North Park Continuation High School
Harley, a senior at North Park Continuation High, aims to represent the North Park community and elevate student perspectives. Passionate about music, literature, philosophy, psychology and sociology, Harley has played the viola for six years and is also a novice boxer. He plans to pursue a career as a symphony musician, composer or conductor, while also considering service in the U.S. Marine Corps. His top college choices include Azusa Pacific University, CSU Monterey Bay and UC Santa Cruz. A fun fact about Harley: he has a deep love for classical music.

Katalina Luna De la Mora, Sierra Vista High School
Luna De La Mora, a Sierra Vista High senior, envisions being a strong voice for her school and advocating for opportunities that strengthen the community. She serves as an ASB Executive Board representative, captain of the flag football team and a participant in the Young Legislators Program under Assemblywoman Blanca Rubio. Her favorite subjects include English, social studies and art. She aspires to pursue political science and a career as a community advocate. Her college interests include the University of San Francisco, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Sacramento State, UCLA and UC Davis. A fun fact about Luna De La Mora: she is a vegetarian.

Together, Lara, Harley and Luna De La Mora will ensure that Baldwin Park Unified students have a voice at the decision-making table, continuing the District’s commitment to student leadership and community engagement.
