Program Overview

The North Park Academic Success Center (NPASC) independent study program provides instruction for 11th and 12th grade students. Enrolled students can access their curriculum both in person and remotely through the APEX portal, which is available 24/7. The ISC specifies the timeline for the completion of courses and will be reviewed prior to being accepted for the following quarter.

Students in the NPASC program take a full course load, just as they would at a traditional school site. The program is designed to offer the majority of coursework online, giving students the opportunity to create a personalized schedule that supports their personal or professional goals.

In addition to academic support, students participate in programs that promote Social Emotional Learning (SEL), including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and the Co-Vitality Survey.

Students are expected to make adequate progress towards graduation by completing a minimum of 30 credits per Quarter.
